4. Dec 3, 1917
The new Russian government, represented by Leon Trotsky, signs an armistice with Germany.
5. Nov 9, 1918
Kaiser Wilhelm II abdicates.
6. Nov 11, 1918
At eleven o'clock on the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918, the war ends as Germany and Allies sign an Armistice.
7. Under "Maps and Battles" describe what was happening on the Western Front using the animated map.
German offensive gains by July 18th. Allies finally stop German advance and begin to push back.
